Parish Council.

As a Parish Council, we spend a lot of time looking into and planning for the future, to make our village a more pleasant place to live in. It is because we are forward looking that we are making use of the Internet, in particular our village website. The Internet community is growing at a great pace and the Council is anxious to find new and effective ways of communicating to provide information to, and receive feedback from, the public. We need more ways of listening to, and understanding, the needs and aspirations of our electorate.

Council meetings usually take place on the first Monday of every month in the Dallimore Mead Hall at 7.30pm. Notices and agendas for meetings are posted on village notice boards. Parishioners are welcome to attend as observers. Copies of the minutes of council meetings are available on the notice board and on this site. A Parish Meeting takes place annually, usually in May, at which the council presents its annual reports and accounts.
